OUR JOURNEY

How It All Started

It all started with a frustration every sport scientist knows too well. During his research sport science — from bachelor's through to his PhD in sport climbing research — Tomas kept running into the same problem: every measurement device came with its own proprietary software, making it a nightmare to align and combine data from multiple sources. In 2022, he decided to stop working around the problem and start solving it — by building a unified platform to bridge the disconnected data sources, and simplify the research workflow. The plaftform’s reliability was proven early on, serving as the primary engine for data collection and analysis in five research studies and three successfully defended master’s theses.

Anna joined the journey in 2024, bringing her expertise in machine learning, software development and signal processing. Her master's thesis, "Development of Software for Evaluating Performance and Hemodynamic Parameters in Forearm Muscles" — defended in 2025 — Expanded the platform's analytical engine and validated the approach in a real-world research setting.:

Together, we realized the vision was bigger than just our own research. We saw an opportunity to build a unifying platform for data collection that bridges the gap between coaches, physiotherapists, and scientists — enabling tighter collaboration and ensuring that cutting-edge knowledge flows directly from research into everyday practice.
