We bring the rig, the sensors and the software to festivals, gyms and competitions. Your climbers get their numbers on the spot — and someone who sits down and explains what those numbers mean for their climbing.

WHAT WE MEASURE

Four numbers from one session

Finger strength is the number everyone knows. On its own it is also the least useful — these four together show what is actually holding a climber back.
Maximum force
How strong your fingers actually are

How much you can pull on a standard crimp, compared to your bodyweight. It's the number everyone thinks they can guess from their hardest boulder. Almost nobody guesses right.

Critical force
Why you pump out

The hardest you can pull and keep pulling. It's what decides whether you pump out on a long route, and it isn't the same as being strong: two climbers with the same max can be miles apart here.

Rate of force development
Whether you stick the move

Reaching your max in half a second is a different skill from reaching it in three. It's what decides whether you catch a dynamic move or a hold you hit badly.

Muscle oxygen (NIRS)
How well you shake out

A sensor on your forearm watches the oxygen drain while you're on, and come back while you rest. It tells you whether that rest is actually doing anything — and whether you need more strength or better recovery.

HOW A SESSION WORKS

What happens at the stand

Sign in and warm up

You fill a short form first — name, climbing grade, body mass, a few basics — so the result has something to be compared against. Then you warm up on the board while we fit the sensors.

Pull

A few maximal efforts, then a repeater protocol on the same edge. Your force curve appears on screen as it happens, so you watch the shape of your own effort rather than waiting for a final score.

Read it back

The muscle-oxygen sensor keeps recording through your rest, so the recovery half of the picture lands in the same file. Then we sit down and go through the profile with you: what is strong, what is limiting, and what that means for next week.

If you can hang it, we can measure it

The whole setup runs from a laptop over Bluetooth. A board on a cord from a tree branch is a perfectly valid test station — which is why we can run the same protocols at a festival stand, in the middle of your gym, or at the foot of a crag.
